Outdoor Areas

Angel house has the unique feeling of while being inside you are also outside because of so many windows bringing inside all the natural surrounding beauty. And the outside is a feast for your eyes and your senses.

The front yard of Angel House shows why it is such a well-loved Mt. Shasta vacation rental. It is only 3 blocks from town but has its own private wild natural pond and towering old growth majestic giant Willow Trees. And across the street and on the side is a continuing wetland vista, which by the way is chock full of blackberries during the late summer season ..  great fun to go berry picking with the family and have fresh blackberries for breakfast or treats all day!

Incredibly fun and interesting front yard…

Dancing Devi

From Bali comes an “Indian Dancing Devi” to entertain you with the awe-inspiring mountain peering over her shoulder …

Back and side patios  for dining, barbecuing, relaxing, sunbathing and just hanging out!

The Back Patio at Angel House offers space for al fresco dining. There is a really cool blue and white 50’s retro dining set and a glorious view of awe-inspiring Mt. Shasta over a colorful  summer garden.

Mt. Shasta city also has many wonderful colorful  flower and vegetable gardens you can visit during the summer months. These include the  Mt. Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center’s sponsored Community Garden in nearby Shastice Park. And then serendipitously there is the Siskiyou Land Trust’s  Landshare Community Garden right in the back yard of Angel House (how lucky!) . Come get some fresh veggies and pick some beautiful sweet-smelling flowers… after asking permission of course! 🙂 And during the late summer season right out your back door (as well as the front door) are more wild and delicious blackberries for your eating fancy!
